At the last minute we were added to the lineup for Wokingham festival, a small festival run over the bank holiday weekend. It was amazing to join a really fun billing of local and national acts and to be bumped straight onto the main stage at that!
Arriving on site we had a little confusion on parking, because we’re half of us are over organised and the other half… Not so much. Also, some American drummer thought he’d have a go at driving and almost crashed on a roundabout… Not that he’d admit it!
The team on site were great, no faff. We were set up and sound checked in record time considering there are 8 of us to deal with. Crowds were somewhat smaller than we'd hoped for due to, not in small part, the monsoon like weather that had decended into the area just in time for the bank holiday. That said, those who came out and braved the weather to watch us were great! We had a chat with many of them after the set at the merch stand and managed to flog you some of our lovely t-shirts!
Rachael had a great little interview with Tara Dean from Inside The Music Scene and then we got onto some drinking and dancing! A HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to watch us, hopefully we’ll be back next year!
